How Muse connects
Harbor exposes two doors to the same board. The Muse app builds a custom connector against the HTTP API. Muse Code speaks MCP at /mcp and signs in with OAuth, or sends an API key.
What Muse can do
- Read lists, items, and search titles and notes. Scope board:read.
- Add items, complete them, edit them, and create lists. Scope board:write.
- Delete an item or a whole list. Those calls are marked destructive.
- Read, ask, save, and delete MemoAirem records. The phone syncs the same rows with PUT /api/v1/records/{id}.
The consent screen offers read-only access. A read-only key or grant cannot change the board.
Documents
/llms.txt is the short brief to hand Muse.
/openapi.json is the OpenAPI description. The server URL inside it matches the host you are using.
OAuth metadata lives at /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server and /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp.
Reachability
The Muse app and Muse Code's OAuth login call Harbor from Meta's network, or from your machine in Muse Code's case for the MCP socket. A server on localhost is visible to Muse Code on the same computer if you use a bearer key. The Muse app cannot reach localhost. Use a public HTTPS address, then open Harbor at that address so the Connect page prints the right URL.
Connect has the message to paste into Muse and the Muse Code settings block.
